Our mission is to provide central information technology resources including software, databases, computer networks, telephones, and staff to support the academic, research, and business activities of the University.<\/p><p>As the main provider of information technology resources, our responsibilities include providing all telecommunications services (voice and data), enterprise administrative \u00a0systems and support \u00a0to the UCF community including:<\/p><div><ul class=\"list\"><li>Campus telephone system<\/li><li>Campus local \u00a0area network<\/li><li>Campus wide area network<\/li><li>Campus wireless network<\/li><li>Cable TV<\/li><li>Computer labs<\/li><li>Computer store<\/li><li>Data center operations and system administration<\/li><\/ul><\/div><ul class=\"list\"><li>Email<\/li><li>Document imaging services<\/li><li>Enterprise administrative data processing services<\/li><li>Online instruction support<\/li><li>PeopleSoft ERP (SA\/HR, Portal, CRM) development<\/li><li>Identity management\/ domain services<\/li><li>Research computing<\/li><li>Web hosting services<\/li><\/ul><p>CS&amp;T is responsible for everything from \u00a0overseeing the University\u2019s wireless network \u00a0through <a title=\"Network Services\" href=\"https:\/\/it.ucf.edu\/our-services\/telecommunications\/\">Network Services<\/a>, to maintaining important student resources such as <a href=\"https:\/\/webcourses.ucf.edu\/\">WebCourses<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/my.ucf.edu\/index.html\">myUCF<\/a>. \u00a0In addition to our routine work, we usually have dozens of unique and exciting projects in the works. We also maintain several public <a title=\"Technology Commons\" href=\"https:\/\/it.ucf.edu\/technology-sales-support-service\/\">student labs<\/a> located throughout campus, as well as a professionally staffed <a href=\"https:\/\/tpc.ucf.edu\/\">computer store<\/a> \u00a0that facilitates the purchase of software or hardware at competitive prices.<\/p><p>CS&amp;T is comprised of two distinct subsections, Delivery Management and Administrative Support Services, in order to fully meet our clients\u2019 expectations. CS&amp;T\u2019s responsibilities are delegated between our seven organizational units within those subsections, to provide centralized support and service for all aspects of the University\u2019s computing, networking, and telecommunications. <a href=\"mailto:ry@mail.ucf.edu?subject=Web%20Site%20Request\">Robert Yanckello<\/a> is the Chief Technology Officer and Director for CS&amp;T.
